Our Co-ed Program for ages 6-14 is designed for your child to learn all about horses. Children will learn and practice basic riding skills, they will be taught safety awareness around horses, such as, how to approach a horse, how to saddle and bridle a horse, the proper way to mount and dismount , and how to find their center of balance in the saddle.
We will also cover horse care and stable maintenance in a fun way, to help teach the responsibilities that come with a horse. There will also be a variety of games , activities, and crafts throughout the day. This Program is a great introduction to horses for your child to see if they would like to continue this sport.
We emphasize SAFETY ,Fun and Education at Rainbow Ridge Farm Equestrian Center , Children will spend one fun filled week learning horseback riding, equine care, the parts of the horse and tack ,arts and crafts, playing games and most of all team work.
Our heartfelt desire is to instill in our students the spirit of sportsmanship ? something that will live a lifetime in their character. We want to bring out the values of teamwork and fun; so closely associated with the affection felt for our friend, the horse.
Our Experienced Counselors and Instructors will offer your child the opportunity to have an educational and memorable experience so your Children will build memories and friendships that will last a lifetime.
