Rainbow Ridge's Fun on the Farm Summer Day Camp is a co-educational Program educating children and teens ages 5-14 about animals and farming. Campers enjoy hands-on experiences with our resident animal friends, including horses, goats, sheep, pigs, rabbits, chickens, turkeys, ducks, geese, and one beloved donkey. Campers gain practical knowledge about equine and farm animals, including
their anatomy and physiology and their proper care. We cover barn chores in a fun way, to help teach the responsibilities that come with animals. Our camp promotes sportsmanship, teamwork, animal stewardship, and self-efficacy—qualities that, when nurtured, will last for a lifetime.
Campers are divided into small groups of approximately 5/6, allowing for a friendly environment, individualized attention, and the opportunity for your camper to easily ask questions of their knowledgeable counselors. Curious minds thrive at Rainbow Ridge!
At least two staff counselors are CPR-certified.
